On Thursday October 29th, Gloss VIP presented an evening of fashion, fun and mayhem in L.A.  Coquette's Penthouse Lingerie was pleased to be not only the feature designer but also a major sponsor of the event.

The evening started with the chance for fashion industry leaders to mingle and trade ideas.  Attendees included buyers from companies like Forever 21, Charlotte Rousse, Nordstrom's and Estee Lauder as well as executives from companies like Louis Vuitton and Starbuck's.  Then came the very sexy fashion show featuring various styles from the Penthouse Lingerie Collection like the P4415 Babydoll and P4446 Teddy Dress.  The lingerie was showcased by some very beautiful models to the buyers, executives and media in attendance.  After the show everybody danced all night to some of the hottest DJs in Los Angeles.  The event was a fundraiser for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in hopes of raising breast cancer awareness.  The models even wore the signature pink ribbons pinned to the lingerie.

We were honored to take part in this event and do our part towards fighting this terrible disease.

Every so often an event comes along that you know you just have to be a part of.  For us that event was the Adult Fun Superstore Pornstar Ball.  Coquette is proud to be one of the sponsors for the event being held Thursday November 19 at NuDen Exotic Club.  This year the special guests include porn superstar Nikki Benz and one of Coquette's most popular models, Brittany Lee.

The evening will be hosted by Kenny B of Hot 89.9 FM with music by "DJ Ilon".  The event will feature porn stars and The Velvet Dolls Burlesque as well as a Coquette Lingerie fashion show featuring our hottest styles of the year.  Dress sleek, sexy or in your favorite sexy costume and get ready for a night full of wild and crazy ass stuff.  Ladies may want to wear their sexiest costumes because AFS will be rewarding all who do with a gift card to their store!  The Door Prize will be an AFS $1000 gift card, so you can stock up on goodies for Christmas.

The NuDen Exotic Club will be opening its doors at 9pm on the 19th.  Tickets are $25 in advance and are available for sale at The Adult Fun Superstore.  Don't worry if you can't make it to the store before the big night because tickets will also be available for $30 at the door.

I'll be the first to admit, I don't enjoy flipping my calendar from August to September. Parting ways with the beach, flip flops and bikinis is extraordinarily disheartening...even if it is only for a few seasons. I suppose the light at the end of this deep, dark, depressing tunnel is that September leads to October - for many, the highlight of the year: Halloween!

I adore Halloween! That's not to say that it wouldn't be more enjoyable in the middle of July, however in all reality would it really be the same for us Canadians if we weren't freezing our butts off on our way to the bars in our cute way-too-short-barely-there-but-oh-so-sexy costumes? Certainly not, it's all part of the thrilling experience and as sick and twisted as it might be, I think we all secretly enjoy the mad dash from the car to the bar to some extent.

This year will by far be the most difficult Halloween season, and if you're wondering why on earth I say that, then perhaps its time for you to check out our 2009 Masquerade costumes collection.

Now that you've caught a glimpse of Halloween Heaven, you'll understand how easily it can turn into Halloween Hell - and I'm not talking about the sexy new Angel & Devil costumes we've lined up for you this year. This will allow you to have a sexy costume for Friday night and Saturday night. You also won't have to narrow your options down to one outfit - which believe me is not worth the stress! My favorite thing about these costumes is that you really can wear them all year round! I'm not encouraging you to show up at your family's Easter dinner wearing your Deviant Devil outfit...probably not appropriate attire. However, in the bedroom anything goes and sexy costumes add zest to role playing. Some of the costumes even come with a sexy bra and panty set to strip down to.
