Cambridge, Ontario – July 26, 2010 – Entering the set of the photo shoot for the upcoming 2011 Main Collection for lingerie powerhouse, Coquette International, saw their newest line of intimate apparel come alive. This year, Coquette has made subtle changes to its image that will be released alongside their 2011 catalog.

"We want Coquette's image and packaging to look as sophisticated as our lingerie," states Coquette International's Art Director, Cindy Cipriano. "The studio where we shot the collection was constructed with simple and fresh sets, to make the garments really stand out."

The focus of the photo shoot is to amplify the quality and intricacy of Coquette's garments, without the distractions of a busy set.

"Lingerie can be difficult to photograph effectively. Beautiful models and complicated sets oftentimes distract what the photographs are trying to show – the lingerie. We want our customers to be inspired by our lingerie, creating an experience of their own, however they interpret it," adds Cipriano.

Until the Main 2011 Collection and its catalog are released in early 2011, Coquette is pleased to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the first day of the photo shoot, along with a glimpse at their new garments.

Cambridge, Ontario – June 29, 2010 – Fresh from the printers, Coquette International's Holiday 2010-2011 catalog has just been released, featuring their newest and most innovative holiday styles yet. The 94 page catalog takes a sophisticated perspective on holiday romance with stunning intimate apparel for Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, and everywhere in between.

"Although a lot of the designs in the 2010-2011 catalog are fun and playful, what this new catalog represents is romance in its truest form that can also inspire the post-holiday season," says Elaine Carson, Senior Designer at Coquette.

New to this year's catalog is the New Years collection which features stunning black satin and lace lingerie adorned with sparkling rhinestones.

"I was inspired to create the New Years collection from the new materials we started to use for Christmas. We decided to go with dark, rich colors that would be more appropriate for a winter line while utilizing traditional Christmas themes. From there, we started working with black fabrics to create something exciting for the holidays, constructing elegant garments suitable for New Years," adds Carson. "Even some of the dresses in the collection are appropriate to wear as a cocktail dress for a New Year's Eve party."

For Christmas and Valentine's Day, Coquette updates their classic silhouettes by using more interesting fabrics, such as embroidered polka-dot taffeta, while incorporating unique details like rhinestones and removable bows.

Also new to this year are Coquette's musical G-strings for men and women that play "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

The Holiday catalog includes pieces from Coquette's ZAKK collection, featuring sexy and playful intimate apparel for men, including the low rise candy cane print boxer brief.

As always, Coquette offers something for all figures. The "Perfectly Plus" section of the catalog is dedicated to holiday styles that are specifically designed for plus sizes.

Retail customers of Coquette can expect their catalog by mail in the coming weeks. For more information, or to order Coquette's Holiday 2010-2011 catalog, email: home@coquette.com, call: (519) 623-9881 or visit: www.coquette.com.

Cambridge, Ontario – June 21, 2010 – Megan Fox gives her nod of approval to her Wild West wardrobe in the newest box office debut, Jonah Hex. The former Transformers beauty dons a 19th century corset that reduced her waist to 18-inches for her role as the gun swinging prostitute, Lilah. The movie opened this past weekend where Fox stars alongside Josh Brolin in the title role.

"The wardrobe used in Jonah Hex accurately represents the mid-19th century, particularly paying homage to the early burlesque period, portrayed in Megan Fox's character. The front busk closure was very popular at that time, as well as the fingerless gloves she wears in many scenes," says Elaine Carson, senior designer at Coquette International.

Although Fox stated in a recent interview that it was difficult to shoot her action scenes in a restrictive wardrobe, she got used to and enjoyed wearing a corset, amazed at the inches it skimmed off her waist.

"Corsetry is definitely not a thing of the past. They still have a purpose and can always surprise you when you put one on. They can look sexy as outerwear, or they can trim inches under clothing. Corsets provide women with the opportunity to conveniently change their appearance," adds Carson.

Please visit www.coquette.com to browse their selection of corsets and burlesque costumes.
